Pretty Much Amazing says, "Frontman Alex Ebert describes the songs on the album as some of the ârawest, most liberated, most rambunctious stuff weâve done.â Maybe more discerning fans will be able to point out the raw and liberated rambunctiousness out of this one. To our ears, âBetter Daysâ sounds simultaneously like a religious procession and a backdoor porch lament."
